Karabar Housing Cooperative Ltd is fortunate to work closely with other support organisations. The synergies between our organisations allow us to support and promote great opportunities for those in need. We share resources and advocate for our members by facilitating referrals to mental health, financial and other supports available to low income and marginalised groups in the Queanbeyan region.
ST BENEDICT'S COMMUNITY CENTRE
St Benedict is located at Annie's Place (Cnr of Anne & Brigalow Street, Karabar), a safe place where people can find company and support.    Â
St Benedict's Community Centre offers crisis support accommodation assistance, hot meals and free food; time out, referral to other services and assistance to develop a support plan.
HOME IN QUEANBEYAN
HOME provides long-term supported accommodation for twenty men and women with enduring mental illness. It features twenty self-contained residential apartments in a safe, loving, non-institutional setting.
MOLONGLO SUPPORT SERVICES
Molonglo Support Services assists people experiencing homelessness and/or domestic and family abuse.
LOUISA DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Louisa Domestic Violence Service is a community-based service that offers information, advice, support and accommodation to women, children and men who have experienced domestic or family violence. Regardless of your gender, ethnicity, and sexual orientation, our role is to support you and work with you to make it possible for you to live in safety and security.

QUEANBEYAN
HOUSING ACTION COLLECTIVE
The Queanbeyan Housing Action Collective (Q-HAC) is a voluntary collective whose members include local not-for-profit charitable organisations that provide local support to people in our community.
Q-HAC was formed to plan innovative ways to address homelessness and housing affordability in our region and, since its inception in 2018, has partnered with state government, local government, local businesses, local charitable organisations, local service clubs, foundations, and community members to achieve success.
Q-HAC members are proud of the achievement of our first project, bringing the Sleepbus service to our LGA for 5 years' operation. The Sleepbus offers a safe and secure alternative to the option of having to sleep rough or unsafe overnight in our community.

QUEANBEYAN AND DISTRICT ANGLICAN CHURCH
QDAC supports the populations of Queanbeyan, Karabar, Jerrabomberra, Googong, Burra, Royalla and Michelago and their surrounding areas.

QDAC owns a group of six units known as Beth Shalom. These units provide quality and affordable long-term housing to single men and women, mostly pensioners with limited means, in the Queanbeyan region.

CELEBRATION COMMUNITY
The Celebration Community is an Anglican Community within the local diocese. The Community has been present in Queanbeyan for about
45 years doing both congregational work and work amongst the marginalised. Most recently the Community is heavily involved in the work of St Benedict’s, Karabar Housing and with HOME, amongst other caring works. They are responsible for St Matthew’s congregation and the Gathering.
